Pedal for Paws on Oct 1: Our second annual Pedal for Paws ride was a great success! Despite the early rain shower, spirits were high as eighty riders of all ages took on 10-, 25-, 35-, and 50-mile routes along the CT River and shoreline, and enjoyed lunch from Fiore's and music by the Sawtelles. Riders came from all over New England, and one even came from Idaho.

    • Another big thank you to all who contributed delicious baked items. They make our ride a favorite among cyclists! Our Forgotten Felines volunteers went above and beyond to make registration and rider support the best they can be. We hope you will all join us again next year!



    Wine For Whiskers: A Success !      Our first wine tasting fundraiser event, “Wine & Whiskers”, was a huge success!! Approximately 270 tickets were sold! Woodwinds was beautiful and the food was fantastic. The wine tasting was a lot of fun with twelve different vendors each offering multiple bottles to taste. Our silent auction was wonderful. Almost every single item sold and our ‘Sponsor a Shelter Cat’ program was a big success as well. For the 50/50 raffle, the generous winner donated back her winnings of over $500.00! Everyone was feeling extremely generous at this event, and the shelter cats will benefit directly from it. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the cause.
