MIRACULOUS MEOWY!
Darling little Meowy, a gorgeous calico kitten, was hit by a car and found lying on the side of the road. A compassionate individual picked her up and took her to an emergency veterinary hospital, where she was treated for multiple serious injuries. When Forgotten Felines was asked to take over her care, it was not even debated. After weeks in the hospital, she came to the shelter and instantly won everyone’s heart. Despite the trauma she suffered and the fact that her tail needed to be amputated, she could not possibly be more friendly, cuddly and playful. This miracle girl is ready for a home where she will be adored and protected forever. Please come meet Meowy at our open house or apply to adopt her online here.

Attention All Essex Savings Bank Customers: Forgotten Felines Needs Your Vote!
Forgotten Felines, Inc. has been selected to be included on the customer ballot in Essex Savings Bank’s Community Investment Program this year. Each year the Bank pledges to donate up to 10% of its after-tax net income to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations and community development projects operating in the towns of Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook.
Each Essex Savings Bank customer will be allowed to complete one ballot with up to three votes. Voting will begin February 1, 2024 and conclude February 29, 2024. Each organization will receive funds proportional to the number of votes received.
If you are not a customer, you can open an account with ESB to participate. To vote, customers can log into their Essex Savings Bank online account or visit any of their branches for a paper ballot.
Introducing Reilly's ReTail Store, a haven for shelter friends! Reilly, our eco-conscious companion, is on a mission to ReCycle, ReUse, and RePurpose items.
Located in the shelter's entrance, this small store rescues unused donations, unexpected finds, and handmade goodies, including the beloved catnip-filled fleece mats. We welcome small donations, especially at the start. Non-handmade items are priced competitively and reduce over time until sold.

FORGOTTEN FELINES, INC is a private, all-volunteer, 501c3 organization in Westbrook, CT, serving 11 towns along the Connecticut River and shoreline. We rescue homeless cats and kittens, care for them in our no-kill shelter and work to find them loving, adoptive homes.
Our service area includes Centerbrook, Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Ivoryton, Killingworth, Madison, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook.
